Winter 2026

Dear Friends,

First things first — Happy New Year!

We hope your festive season was full of laughter, rest, and maybe the odd show tune or two. We’re so grateful to be starting another year with your support, friendship, and enthusiasm for everything BBLOC does.

A warm welcome to our new faces

We’re delighted to introduce two new committee members:

⭐ Kayleigh Jones — brand new to the committee and absolutely raring to go. We can already feel her spark and energy and can’t wait to see her ideas come to life.
⭐ Jodie Saunders — an experienced pair of hands when it comes to committee work, bringing knowledge, calm confidence, and wonderful organisation to the team.

And joining us off-committee, we’re thrilled to welcome:

🎉 Harriet Thomson as our brand-new Social Coordinator - she’ll be helping to keep the fun flowing and the community spirit high.

We’re so grateful to each of them for stepping forward to help keep BBLOC thriving.

New members after a fantastic round of auditions

We’re also celebrating some lovely new members joining the company after a wonderfully successful set of auditions:

🌟 Steff McGinn — you may remember Steff as the proud owner of the wonderful Teddy (our much-loved doggy star from Annie!).
🌟 Kiera Rickford
🌟 Laura Alborough
🌟 Charlotte Curtis

We’re thrilled to welcome them to the BBLOC family and can’t wait to see them onstage with us.

Our next musical is… 9 to 5!

We’re excited to share that our 2026 musical will be:

🎭 9 to 5
📅 14–17 October 2026

It’s joyful, sassy, and full of heart - we think you’re going to love it.

And remember - as Friends, you’ll hear first when Early Bird tickets go on sale.
That little perk is just one of the ways we say thank you for supporting us.

Christmas fayre success — thank you!

Our Christmas Fayre at the end of November raised a fantastic £497.80.
That really does make a difference — thank you so much to everyone who baked, helped, donated, bought, chatted, tidied, and cheered us on.

Supporting Macmillan Caring Locally

At our AGM last month, we were proud to present our cheque to Macmillan Caring Locally, taking our total raised for them so far to an amazing £9,957.25.

We’re absolutely thrilled to be working with them again next year — supporting a cause that means so much to so many of us.

Here’s to a brilliant year ahead!
